Thank  you.

What a beautiful night it was for the twenty three boats that raced tonight. Twenty three boats is a new record for the Bay Shore venue. Thanks to everyone who came out to make tonight so special. We sincerely appreciate your continued commitment to help make this such a fun event.

Last night we saw the return of Bill Wheeler sailing his new boat, a Friendship 40 named Tortoise. What a beautiful boat! Congratulations Bill. Lee Christiansen sailing a C&C 35-3 named Maggie Lee, joined us for the first time. We hope your long trip from Sayville was worth the effort. Sorry to learn that your late start was caused by a jammed headsail. Nice recovery Lee. Ian Holtzmacher sailing a Pearson 35 named Wanderlust and Justin Grover sailing a C&C 25 named Sugar Magnolia were also racing with us for the first time in Bay Shore. Thank you all for joining us tonight.

My apologizes  to Christy Edwards for failing to thank her for doing race committee duty last week. We really appreciate your accurate reporting of the race results. Thank you.

Thank you Chris Dennerlein for doing race committee duty tonight. I'm sure that your engine problems in the middle of the finish and having to sail into your slip made for a longer night than expected. Glad you got back before the post race get together ended. At least you didn't fall off your boat again.

Thank you to:

Jim Reichel for scrambling to get us handicaps for last minute requests.

Eric Winberry for maintaining the sbccracing.org website while we are continually asking him to make changes.

To all the people who bring goodies to the post race get together and to all the racers and crew who participate.

If anyone has photos of the race, please send them to Eric Winberry at Aleboat11@yahoo.com to be included with the race results and summary.

Hope to see you all next week.
